Star Burst
Cast "Enchant Item", but don't choose an item to enchant. Instead, press the B button to abort the spell in the midst of casting. The "Star Burst" spell will be added to your spell list.
Free Food
This trick will enable you to never buy food again! In your list of commands, select "Share" and then "Food". Do this several times and your entire party's food supply will increase. You may go beyond the limit of 40 units with this trick!
Money, Gems, and Items
This code will only work if you have two hirelings in your party. At any point during the game get into a fight. When the fight is over "Search" and a chest will appear. Before opening the chest dismiss both of your hirelings. Open the chest and bask in the wealth of gold and gems.
Secret Cheat
At any time during the game, press "C" to bring up the sub menu. Go to View Character and press "C", when promted with the "View Which" message, press and hold left on the D-pad, "A" and "C" for about 3 seconds, then release. Scroll left until you start finding strange characters with exotic items, weapons and armor. Trade whichever items you want to the members of your party. This trick can also be used to take these characters Gold and Gems.
